Prepare for an unforgettable adventure exploring Búzios’ natural landscapes. The Emerências Trail offers breathtaking panoramic views and connects to the José Gonçalves Trail, taking you along a dirt road surrounded by nature and wildlife. Along the way, you might spot monkeys and even sloths in the trees, as well as lush vegetation. This circuit explores the beauty of the Pau Brasil Environmental Protection Area and provides a connection to José Gonçalves Beach. For those who prefer a shorter trail, the direct access to José Gonçalves from the lower part is recommended.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- The trail is recommended for people in moderate to good physical condition.
- Pets are not allowed.
- We recommend comfortable clothing, sneakers or hiking boots, sunscreen, and a hat.
- Note: The afternoon trail may include a nighttime return to the starting point if it is extended to José Gonçalves Beach. We recommend that participants bring flashlights and wear appropriate clothing. Bring water and light snacks.
- Please note that there is an environmental fee of R$10.50 per person, payable only during the tour. This fee helps support local fishermen and maintain the city.
