- There is mandatory airport-like security screening prior to boarding the ferry
- All prohibited items are confiscated and retained by the park police
- You will be walking for several hours, so wear comfortable shoes
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled start time Backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside the 9/11 Memorial or Statue of Liberty
- The ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty can be windy and cold, so bring a jacket

- "Skip the Line" means that instead of waiting in the normal long queue, the customer enters a fast, priority queue, together with the other customers who have chosen this option.
