Atins and Lagoons 4×4 Tour in Lençóis Maranhenses

We leave at 8:30 am in a Toyota 4×4, taking a 1-hour trail until we reach the first lagoons, where we visit Lagoa do Gavião. Afterward, we’ll head out to sea and then to the village of Canto do Atíns, where Mr. Antônio and Mrs. Luzia’s restaurants and Carminha’s restaurant (Ponta do Mangue) are located. There they serve delicious grilled shrimp, fish, sun-dried meat, etc. Then we’ll head to the village of Atíns. There, we’ll see the mouth of the Preguiça River, where the river meets the sea. We’ll return to visit some more lagoons in Lençóis Maranhenses: Lagoa das Sete Mulheres, Lagoa da Tropical, Lagoa do Kaite, among others. We leave Atíns around 4:00 pm, arriving in the city at 5:30 pm.
