Bookings on this website are paid in full at the time of booking, in US dollars, through our secure checkout. There is no deposit and no balance to settle later. Your booking is confirmed once we send you a written confirmation by e-mail or WhatsApp with the tour, the date, the meeting point and the meeting time.
We strongly recommend it. Travel insurance is not included in the price of our tours and we do not sell it. We suggest a policy that covers, at minimum, medical treatment abroad, trip cancellation and interruption, and loss of belongings.
Our registered address is Rua Sá Ferreira, 30 — Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and we also have a contact point in Rome, Italy. The tours themselves are operated on the ground by licensed local partners in each destination.

If you already have a booking and something goes wrong during the tour, call us straight away — most problems can only be fixed while the tour is still running.
Yes, if you cancel more than 24 hours before the tour starts: you receive a full refund of everything you paid us. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start, or on the day, are not refundable, and the same applies if you do not show up at the meeting point. Cancellations must be sent to us in writing, by e-mail or WhatsApp. If you booked through GetYourGuide, Viator or TripAdvisor, cancel on that platform instead.
It depends on the tour. Where a minimum age applies, it is stated on the tour page, and some tours also have a child price with its own age range shown at checkout. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Our tours operate in poor weather and no refund is due for weather conditions. If the Brazilian Navy cancels a boat tour in Rio for safety reasons, we replace it with a land-based alternative on the same day.
On some tours, yes. Local environmental, harbour or access fees are set by public authorities, are not part of our price, and are paid locally in cash or by card on the day. When a tour has one it is listed on the tour page under what is not included — for example Angra dos Reis R$ 35.00 per person, Arraial do Cabo R$ 15.00 plus a mandatory R$ 20.00 local transport fee, and Búzios R$ 10.50.
