JLali Travel is the international brand of JLALI GROUP Tourism Agency — JLALI Agências de Turismo Ltda, CNPJ 59.990.670/0001-45 — working from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Rome, Italy.

It started with Rio Passeios e Trilhas, which has been running guided tours in Rio de Janeiro for fifteen years. That operation grew into JLALI GROUP, and JLali Travel is the group’s international arm: created in 2024 to sell those experiences abroad, and formally incorporated as a Brazilian travel agency in 2025 so that international travellers could book directly with us — in English, in US dollars — instead of only through third-party marketplaces.

The company name is recent. The people running the tours are not.

What we sell

We publish 102 guided tours and experiences across eight countries: Italy (44), Brazil (33), Spain (14), England (3), the Netherlands (3), the United States (2), Greece (2) and France (1).

Most of what we sell is a day experience with a guide — a city walking tour, a museum or landmark visit, a full-day trip out of the city, a transfer combined with a visit. Prices on this website are shown in US dollars.

How we actually work

We want to be plain about this, because it changes what you can expect from us.

JLali Travel does not own a fleet of vans or employ the guides who meet you on the day. We work with local operators and licensed guides in each destination — people who live there, hold the local permits, and run that tour every week. We select them, negotiate the terms, build the itinerary and the price, sell the tour, and stay responsible for your booking from the moment you pay until the tour is over.

So there are two parties in every booking: JLali Travel, who sells you the experience and answers to you for it, and a local partner, who runs it on the ground. If something needs to be changed, moved or fixed, you deal with us — we deal with them.

Booking direct instead of through a marketplace

Our tours are also listed on GetYourGuide and on Viator / TripAdvisor, and we are happy for people to book there. What is different when you book on jlalitravel.com:
